Upsy Daisy Kiwi

I wasn't sure if I should even post this card, because the scan just isn't near as pretty as it is in person. Since I haven't done anything else new this week though, I decided to put it up for you. This is the card I had everyone make at Judy's workshop last night. These ladies are so fun to get together with. I always look forward to seeing them. They get excited about everything. We inked up the flowers in Kiwi Kiss and then took the Always Artichoke marker and ran it along the tops of each flower for some added color. After showing this ribbon, the Striped In Color Ribbon Club immediately filled and I was able to get it ordered last night. Now we can fill up another one. Are you interested?

I demonstrated the Big Shot for the first time! (I told you I'd break down and get it.) I need some practice at putting the baskets together, but I really like them. They'll make the neatest favors for showers, teachers, classrooms, whatever!

Mr. Twigster

My downline card swap was due Monday. This is what I finally came up with for it. I wish I had more time to stamp! This cute stamp set will be in the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog, which comes out on October 1st and runs through January 18th. The cute new Designer Paper I've used is also in there. It is called Frosty Day. The striped ribbon is awesome. I do have a ribbon club available for it. It is available in all of the "In Colors" for this year. Let me know if you are interested. Don't worry! I didn't stamp each of those little letters. I ran the paper through the printer and used a Stampin' Up! font to print the saying.

We may end up using this set at the class on October 14th. If you'd like to come, be sure and RSVP by the 5th. Details are on the right sidebar! If you have questions, email me.

Upsy Daisy Blue

Another card from this FUN set! The Designer Paper I've used is the new Urban Garden. I really like the colors featured in this set of papers. The ink I used is Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy.

"Controversial" Dream

When I get up in the morning, I brush my teeth, wash my face, get the kids up and then Richard's alarm is usually going off. He puts it far away from him so he has to go and get it. Usually he gets it and then takes it back to bed until it goes off again though. This morning, after it had gone off the second time, he said "I have been having the weirdest dreams. One was just now.......it was about a new controversial paper towel." We just burst out laughing and every time I think about it this morning I start laughing. He is such a goofball!

Upsy Daisy

I STAMPED! Tuesdays are so crazy for me and yet I decided I wasn't leaving the house until I took time to make a card for my blog. That's just how it goes. I got three new sets on Friday and finally took a few minutes to put them together yesterday. This is one of the 10 sets that are 15% off through the end of the month (hurry!). I LOVE it and so does my sister. See her cute cards here. (Go down a little ways.....P.S. HB Justus! Looks like we missed a great party! :) )

I embossed the flowers and greeting after stamping them in craft ink on the Bella Rose Designer Paper. LOVE that paper. This is one of those cards you need to see in person. This color of pink just doesn't look good through the internet.

Today is crazy, as I said. Driving, driving, driving, lots of driving, piano, soccer, band, RS Social, plus fitting in some other things that I'm not sure how we'll do. Somehow it always works out. I'm always relieved when it is time to go to bed!

Still selling stamps!

I've posted my stamp sets, wheels and some accessories that I have for sale here: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/art/982376594.html . Check it out if you are interested! All stamps are used, but in good condition.

I delete items from the list as they sell, so it is always current. Items can be mailed if you are willing to pay postage and use Paypal for payment, so feel free to share my listing with friends around the country!

I have many more accessories for sale, but I haven't listed ones that you have to see (paper, designer paper, ribbon, etc.), to make things easier.

*** 10 Card Class! ***

I've been asked and asked and finally scheduled another class. I can't fit it in until October, but sign-ups begin now and will continue until October 5th or until the class is full. We'll be making 10 Cards for a variety of occasions. There will be five designs and you'll make two of each design. See complete class details on the right sidebar of my blog. YOU are invited, of course!

Under the Stars, part 2

Another quick Under the Stars card. This is the only new set I own so far! I hope my order arrives this week, so I'll have some other fun things to play with. I've been so busy that I didn't order right away, as I normally do. Stay tuned!

Catching Up on Summer Photos

Brandon was in the intermediate swimming class in July and had a friend of the family for one of his swimming teachers, which he loved. He liked jumping off of the diving board and did a great job swimming to the ladder on his own.
Zach was in the advanced swimming class this year and did a great job. By his last class, he was treading water for 45 minutes straight with no problem at all. Diving isn't his strong suit, but as he says "when do you really NEED that?" True!
Brandon's birthday was next. He just invited a couple of friends. He isn't big on crowds. He definitely wanted to wear his "Grandpa's Cheese Barn" shirt. He loves that place!

Brandon & Jack
We headed over to the bowling alley and had a good time bowling and eating pizza. Notice that the teenagers are all on the phone, or have their phones nearby!

Alex & Cody

We grabbed some kid to take a group picture before we left!

A couple of days later it was Zach's birthday. He chose not to have a party, saying he was too old for that. He just wanted to go fishing.
He immediately put on a new birthday shirt (rare for him to take off that white soccer one!) and blew out his candles on his chocolate cake with NO frosting. A great picture of Zach! He usually gives me some goofy smile.~ Cody ~
These pictures are the first day of school. We have a tradition to take a picture by this fence post. We can see how much they've grown each year. We also mark their height on the wall in the garage. Let's try and guess who likes getting their picture taken and who doesn't!
